THE POWER OF SOCIAL INTERACTION
Because we are social creatures, naturally seeking out interaction with others, group fitness helps many clients achieve their health and fitness goals faster than working out solo. Working out with others helps motivate you and holds you accountable for attending all work out sessions. Group exercise also provides you with the fellowship that everyone so desperately needs in their lives. You can struggle and succeed in your weight loss / fitness goals among a group of people who are striving towards the same general end result that you are. What you may not be able to do on your own, you can do with the support and encouragement of people who are immersed in the same battle you are!
My name is Skip Jennings, CPT and I provide mind, body, and spirit fitness solutions to the Los Angeles, California area. Through a variety of group courses, I help hundreds of clients discover their ideal self. I am AFAA and ACE certified and a Schwinn® Master Instructor. I also hold a certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and fifteen qualifications relating to group fitness and personal training.
- Bringing the consciousness to a pure form through meditation and physical posturing by means of a highly reformed connection between movement and breath regulation; the resulting flow is synchronized to become much like a dance; Vinyasa flow yoga is originally an Indian meditative practice
- Strengthening the core muscles by combining muscle stretches and controlled breathing to restore the natural stabilization of your body; this is a great fitness course as it helps align the spine and strengthen torso muscles
- Performing a cardiovascular workout through a highly intensive level of indoor cycling; all fitness levels are encouraged to participate as it's great for the heart and has a low impact on your joints; indoor cycling burns calories, reduces body mass, and strengthens your heart and lungs
- Directing the body's energy through visualization, simple body movements, and relaxed breathing; oftentimes seen as a spiritual workout for one's life force or energy; designed to sustain the health of your nervous system, immune system, internal organs and helps you deal with stress
- Developing lean body mass and reducing the amount of body fat through weight lifting with Drive, Dedication, and Determination; helps boost your metabolism and burns fat faster than cardiovascular training alone

When working out on your own becomes a chore, you tend to skip days, but working out with a group makes exercising fun. You can achieve your fitness goals while building personal relationships with people who have the same mindset you have. Working out with a group also ensures you have someone who understands just what you are going through yet also drives you to work harder during challenging sessions.

By incorporating mental and spiritual training into your physical work out, you are able to accomplish your full transformation of self.
