DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 9 “Love Meditation”
Meditative Thought: Have you ever taken the time to meditate on Love? What comes up for you when you think about Love? Meditation is the practice of mindful listening. When we take the time to be still and contemplate love there is an awakening of the knowing that Love is what we are. We connect instantly to this powerful energy of the divine that lets us know that all is well. The ‘Love Meditation’ is the practice that elevates our consciousness to a new way of being. Our meditation on Love is vital to our oneness with God. God is love; therefore we get to embrace God through our awareness of Love.
Your Spiritual Assignment: For the next 30 days take time to be still and meditate on Love. Ask Spirit to show you what you don’t know. Then write down what is revealed to you. Keep a journal of your break-through. Remember, you can’t hear if you are speaking. Take time to be still and listen.
Affirmations Just for this moment…just for this breath, my meditation and I are one with the spirit of God. Meditation is where I hear the voice of God. Stillness is like the air I breathe, and I inhale Spirit. My secret garden is a magnificent haven for transformation. And so it is. Amen.
