Today’s Body Connection:  Remember, living a healthy life is based on awareness, a divine mindfulness that you cannot separate the mind from the body and the body from the spirit.  It is all connected.  Health and fitness is a higher state of consciousness.  When we eat, we must remember that it is a spiritual experience.  Not only do we pray and thank God for the food we are about to receive, but eating is also about nourishment of the body-temple, home of your spirit.  Our fitness has more than a superficial meaning, if we choose.  There is a difference between working out to know your divinity and working out to get into your skinny jeans.  It’s not about wrong our or right, just different levels of consciousness.  It’s about our awareness and our intentions.  To know your divine self is a high state of consciousness; to drop a dress size or two is a low state of consciousness.  The higher state will always bring us inner peace, while the lower state’s recompense is fleeting and disappointing.  Choose the higher state.

Today’s Meditative Thought: The low state of consciousness is when we are asleep to the greatness that is within ourselves.  The high state of consciousness is when this greatness is activated and in use.  Today is the day we wake up and set the planet ablaze.  It is time to transform our world and it begins with you.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, remember you can be in a low state of consciousness or a high state of consciousnesses.  Today is a day of awareness.  Stay awake!

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I remember the time to transform is now.  And so it is.  Amen
