Mindfulness is a psychological process of purposely bringing one’s focus to fully engage with the present moment.  It can be as simple as feeling the pleasantly warmth of the balmy days of late summer.

Practicing mindfulness allows us to think more clearly about ourselves and our surroundings and integrating that awareness to fight life’s stressors and other difficulties. The power of mindfulness does not only change our mindset and perspective, it actually changes the brain, rewiring them towards more positive thoughts and emotions.  Our brain is willful and strong and learning mindfulness can be a part of overall healing and strengthening.

The process of learning mindfulness is a part of the healing and strengthening process.
